![]() Great for skill level, awful because after summoning 2 of their monsters you can easily get overrun. A lot of it!Īs I recall, in the Ice Caverns they stop after a summon or two and then just do magic attacks on you, but in the swamps, they seem to do it indefinitely which is a great thing and an awful thing. If you are powerful enough you can stay and farm these summons for skill level. They are casters, so easily killable, but they summon powerful monsters to their aid which last for about 600 seconds. There are a couple of places (Ice Caverns, The Swamps) where you will come across a squishy new enemy - the witch. It isn't easy, but after getting two or three you'll get the hang of it! Make sure you run very close to them while they are fleeing so that when they finally stop you can get one or two swings at them. The same goes for when the Gremal runs away just as you attack. If your character happens to not be in the vicinity of the Gremal it will miss the attack. ![]() They tend to run and run and run, but after a while, they stop for a couple of seconds - that's your moment! Use the 'A' key on your keyboard, or whatever you have 'Attack' key-bonded to, and with your cursor above them, your character will attack. ![]() How do you catch them with a melee character? With an archer, it's just a matter of waiting on them to stop, pointing your bow, and shooting. But it is quite rewarding when you finally catch up to them and give them the pointy end. However, I found this to be kind of hard and frustrating at times as they keep running away from you just as you try to attack them in melee. It might seem like the rabbit-like Gremals are unkillable, but with a melee fighter or an archer, they are not. ![]()
